About the Role

We are looking for a Backend AI Engineer to join our in-office team and build high-impact backend systems using Python and PostgreSQL.

In this role, you will work on scalable backend architecture as well as AI-powered product features, directly shipping code to production used by thousands of businesses globally. This is a high-ownership role where your work will have visible, real-world impact.

• Lead and take full responsibility for the backend development of our product.
• Build robust APIs and backend logic that power real-time experiences for thousands of e-commerce businesses.
• Work on AI-driven features and contribute to building an AI-first product experience
• Contribute to database design, performance optimisation, and overall system architecture.
• Drive the product forward by owning everything from architectural decisions to final deployment.

• Technical Expertise: Strong grasp of PostgreSQL database and a Python web framework .
